Downingtown's Mayor Phil Dague joined our elementary students to celebrate Read Across America Week in the DCA. Students had a wonderful time reading along with Mayor Dague!

Congratulations to DCA junior Cal Plohoros who brought his speed and strength to Season 14 of NBC’s #AmericanNinjaWarrior this past summer, advancing to the national finals with the support of family, friends, and DASD Spanish teacher Jennifer Meyer!
An experienced competitor, Cal first competed in American Ninja Warrior Junior in 2018 and 2019 before qualifying for the “big show” for the first time in 2021 and advancing to the semifinals, after the minimum age requirement was reduced from 19 to 15.
